Design idea: a finger print and possibly smaller finger prints within the large one? Hope to provoke thoughts about the mark we make.
Or
Maybe a world map that the fingerprint is on? Students could put their fingerprint on the country they're from?
Then using a map of Boston instead of the world was proposed...
Then I tried different ways to compose the overall image with fingerprints and/or footprints, using the artist Chuck Close as a guide.

After I experimented with a Chuck Close Painting on Warren Towers I tired to replicate the visual effect of fingerprints and/or footprints.
